DooPCE is slow, Hugo not have autoframeskip option and a few games are slow.

A new PCE emulator should be great!!!.

Software in GPL violation is an "illegal content" ?, like ROMs, ISOs or DVD Rips ?

You can't use GPL-ed sources without publishing changes you've made to it.

So the project was abandoned, and there is no source code left for anyone to continue it.

I am dissapoint.

The author stopped updating emulators because the multiple complaints about GPL. You reap what you sow.
So don't complaint about it cos It was bound to happen.

Ok, I understand. What a shame he doesn't choose the other solution.

It wasn't he's fault that in this part of world the copyright and all of that is still not taken too serious, for example on that russian site no one was complaining.

He brought something good to that shitty NativeOS.

Does anybody know anything else about this guy?

I think he's actually a pretty swell guy for doing what he's done for the Dingoo already.

I've always felt that pushing someone to do more than they've already done out of the kindness of their heart and on their own time was too much.
It's good way to get the opposite, and well, look what happened...

He is still obligated to release the modified source code. Just stopping updating does not justify anything. And nothing was bound to happen, all he was required to do is share his code. That didn't cost him anything and would definitely help improve the emulators. Or at least we would be able to continue from the spot he left it when he gave up.

I am closing this thread now. If the author of this pack feels like doing what he's ought to, please start another thread.

Let this be an example of what happens if you don't play by the rules.
