*** What is Chip World ***Chip World is a complete re-implementation of the Windows versionof Chip's Challenge.Help Chip win the respect of Melinda, to join the Bit Busters club. For this, Chip must complete a number of challenges set up byMelinda.Chip must collect all the required micro chips to be able to passthe socket, and get to the goal. For more information, read the hints ingame by stepping on thehint tiles. If you're having problems completing a level, you have 5 skipcredits you can use to skip levels. To get the skip credits back, simply go back and complete a skipped level. You can skip levels from the in-game menu.Somewhere along the way I got tired of trying to emulate all theglitches in the windows version of Chip's Challenge. As a result of not doing that, some levels which were partiallybroken in the windows version now works as intended.*** Custom levels ***Apart from the official Chip's Challenge levelset you can also usecustom levels.Just be aware though that custom levels that exploits some bugs inChip's Challenge might not work correctly. If you want to make your own levels, look into a Chip's Challengelevel editor (for example ChipEdit)The save file name uses crc32 to differentiate between differentchips.dat files. So if you use a custom dat file, it willautomatically use another save file. There is however no GUI to select dat-files at the moment, soyou'll have to replace chips.dat*** Custom music ***To play your own music instead of the built-in, place an ogg filecalled ChipWorld.ogg in the same folder as ChipWorld.app.The ogg file should be encoded to 44100 Hz, 16 bit, and stereo. Most ogg files you'll find are in this format.*** Controls ***A to enter menus, B to go back.Start + Select anytime to quit.DPAD Move PlayerStart In-game MenuB In-game MenuX Restart LevelY+Left/Right Change LevelY+Up/Down Change VolumeR/L Change VolumeStart+Select Exit GameSelect (hold) Take Screenshot*** Credits ***ProgrammingAndreas Bjerkeholt (aka Harteex)GraphicsDaniel KvarfordtMusicDaniel KvarfordtSoundsBy Brian Raiter (public domain)Special ThanksBen Brewer (aka Flatmush)ThanksGreg Heier, Anonymous and John Elliott - CHIPS.DAT referenceAndrew Bennett and the other contributors to the Wikia Chip's Challenge sectionJohn Elion - for his Chip's Challenge map editorBrian Raiter - for documentation comparing CC MS & lynx versionsFinally Thanks ToChuck Sommerville - for creating the original Chip's Challenge
