MAME Roms don't work on A380, someone please help the newb.

While I've played the preloaded ones (i.e. Street Fighter II) on the A380, I can't seem to add any new ones of my own; like galaga or soul edge. (Those might be a little out of the league of the A380 though... especially SE).

I've tried about two dozen very different roms and the preloaded Mame emulator simply won't recognize or show it on the menu and MAME4all insists that their missing files.

Am I just using bad downloads? Is their a converter or something I need like for CSP2 roms?

The newest mame's romsets dont works with mame4all for Dingux, you need the old 0.37b5 mame romset, the same for the caanoo. Google is your friend!

Or MAME ROMset 0.37b16. This ROMset works fine with the Dingoo A-380 MAME emulator and is easier to find.

Ok well I've googled everything ROMset related and you guys are right, but where can I find b16 or b5 roms? How do I know if they are or not? I don't suppose there just a wonderful archive with everything marked somewhere.

P.S. Wow, help from Mr. Alien Grey himself. I'm flattered.

Google for "mame 0.37b16" and you'll find what you're looking for.  ;)
