I did a really stupid thing
« on: September 12, 2013, 04:04:05 am »
I accidently deleted the System folder on my Dingoo. My computer will no longer recognize it when plugged in, I can only turn it on and off with the reset button and it wont boot up past the Dingoonity screen. Am I totally screwed here?

I barely remember anymore, but I think you should be able to fix it with the unbricker tool. A quick google search found this, might work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4C4G0_rmfsU

I watched the video and the one thing I can't figure out how to install the drivers to my PC will recognize it. When I plug the device into the computer I get the little sound saying something has connected via USB but I don't know how to get the PC to recognize it. If I can do that I think I can fix everything.

I haven't had to do that myself so I don't know why. However I think I've heard that there might be an issue with 64bit OSes...
