Hey, I got my black unpawed a320 from Thinkgeek and was worried from the moment I opened it (after scouring forums for a few weeks about it)... But I managed to get dingux running just fine, flashing it and USB connecting it to my vista SP2 laptop to move files onto it. It won't view the internal mem or flash card from my vista64 ultimate sp2 machine, but that's no biggie, I can just dump the files from my tower to the laptop. It took some work and some scouring of these forums for different tricks to use, but ultimately it was as simple as the boot-f8 for unsigned drivers bit to get dingux actually working. I havn't been experiencing any of the issues most people complain about with the unpawed units, but I do get a sneaky suspicion the folks at thinkgeek (or wherever) left it plugged in for its initial charge alittle too long, because my battery life got owned. It won't even charge up past the 3/4 mark and the remaining life isn't very impressive even on the native emulators (2-3 hours max on the gba emu, Castlevania AOS as test). I'll be prying it open to toss one of the replacements for sale in soon, but as far as I can tell this unpawed unit is just the same as most pawed should be. Has a serial number between the left speaker and the USB connector, just 4G A320BK and some numbers, no HK on the end. When I pry it open I'll update with what hardware it has, but from the looks of it Thinkgeek has a good stock of unpawed dingoos.
