Could be the new maker of the shell doesn't have logo screen printing ability or doesn't want too the more you screen print or sublimate the more it costs

Those new unpawed Dingos are made by Gemei, who saw the big success and wanted to jump on the train. Apparently they can?t use the paw logo, copyright?

Mine came from a chinese ebay shop, it hadn't Game King on the top or any chinese writings, it said Micro Game Station and everything was written in english on the box. It says Game King on the side of the box.

They WERE already being manufactured by Gemei, and branded as Dingoo/Chinavasion/etc.

I'm afraid Gemei decided to cut out the middle man and sell directly (profit margin goes up) and did further modifications to cut the costs. Would also explain why they don't sell it as a Dingoo Digital product anymore.

Maybe it's the luck of the draw with these unpawed versions, cause I have one. I dropped it onto the pavement once by accident, and it still worked perfectly fine afterwards.

It's simple all these reseller warehouses and wholesalers had a surplus of the Dingoo A320 with the paw print once those stocks are depleted there will only be Non paw printed dingoo A320's on the market.

Is the unpawed version still branded as Dingoo Digital, or has the branding been removed altogether?

Coming to think of it, this might also be one batch of unbranded Dingoo's that were about to get branded for some other store, but the store cancelled the order. A bit like what happens with el cheapo USB jumpdrives in Europe: They were manufactured to be rebranded and spread as promotional material, but the buyer cancels the order, and they try to sell the nameless USB sticks in cheap shops.

Dingoo-Digital-USA, do you think there will only be unpawed Dingoo's on the market after the stocks are depleted, or do you have any verification from Dingoo Digital? It's a bit hard to see that from your post

On chat and the e-mails I get from Dingoo Digital China it states from this point forward all Dingoo Digital A320 will come with no logo only A320 made in China on the back. I asked why the response I got was several vendors had requested there be no logo on the back. As I said previously the only conclusion I can come to is this is so they can market it with there logo or branding.

The Dingoo still comes up with the Dingoo-Digital and the paw when you power up with this non pawed A320's but lets be honest with the HXF Tool any vendor could change that to Brand them with their boot up logo and screen print the back of the casing with their logo also. But answer to your question as of now that is the plan no more Dingoo-Digital or The paw print or Chinese Symbol on the back only A320 made in China.

I have here a number of September made units WITH A PAW PRINT! The only reports I've found of non-paw manufactured units are from August, unless someone can actually give me some other dates for the non-pawed versions, this begs the question.

If what you're saying is true, why would they change back to pawed versions one month after starting the nonpawed?

This indicates either different productions lines or a different factory.

I highly doubt this is the last we will see of the pawed versions. Dingoo Digital would be mad to remove there company logo permanently from there own massively successful product!

They might have a mixture of both in the warehouse all I can give you facts as I know them as I deal direct with the company I didn't get a shipment from DD China with non pawed Dingoo's till MiltonB made his order and that was early october and two orders since then have been without the paw print hence me be so active in testing to find a solution for the issue with the non paw printed A320

I just got my Dingoo yesterday (saturday Dec 12th) and it has a paw print, and had the latest firmware preinstalled as well. It has the ILI9331 LCD as well, which I hear is the newer type. Any way, short of cracking it open, to tell a manufacture date?

Manufacture date is located in the same place you found out your LCD type.

It's good they're still making PAW'ed versions!
