You mean in the style of the iconic picture of Buzz Aldrin's footprint?

Done right it would be absolutely brilliant, but it's beyond my meager skills. :)

now THAT would be freaking AWESOME!!

I'd use that for my bootscreen, if someone could come up with it.

Maybe if someone could photoshop it...just as a suggestion, perhaps using existing pictures of the moon, and moving around large visible craters and darkened areas...might create the desired effect?

Could work with a partly-transparent embossed Dingprint.

Sorta what I was thinking...and photoshop some existing moon picture/s onto that, of craters, dark spots, whatever is needed to create the desired effect.

I'd try it myself, but I suck at all forms of art...even photoshop.

I couldn't get it completely right, but here's something :)

I used the Dingoonity paw btw, I suppose it's similar enough...

 :P

That's about as good as I could get it, if you want to use it for custom firmware you would need to save it as 16-bit BMP, etc. As described in my pinned guide for modifying firmware ;D

Soon, I'll be using these too.  Was wondering if anyone might manage to add "Dinggo Digital" the words...into these pics for the bootup and shut down screens.

Am not sure if these pics could be altered in Paint...which is the only program I have...and I don't want to screw it up so that they are not then saved right, causing the Dingoo to hang on an invalid bootscreen (i.e. not 16-bit .bmp with the right color scheme)

I've made a few varieties with the Dingoo Digital text included... they're in PNG so there's no quality loss. Just open them in The GIMP, make changes where you want (if any) and save as 16 bit bitmap :)

And with boot/shutdown text:

Hmm, the other picture is not mine... you'll have to ask the original author to do that :P

Okey day.  Then I'm asking!!

LOL

Ideally, I wanted one like yours for shut-down...and one like the bigger paw for powering up.  But I'd still like the words Dingoo Digital to show up on the power-up
