Confusion with USB mode
« on: December 31, 2011, 02:36:02 pm »
I'm getting quite confused about installing custom firmware.

I'm trying to get Dingoonity custom firmware 1.2 onto my A330 but when I plug my device in my USB, all I get shown up is the folders with emulators and such in. There is no res folder (except inside my dmenu folder, which I believe is related to the Dingux default dmenu) on there, nor is there a system folder.

The below is what the file format looks like when I plug the USB in;
local---

>apps
>bin
>dmenu
>emulators
>etc
>games
>gmenu2x
>home
>lib
>sbin
>share

rootfs--
zImage--

I'm probably being really stupid here and I apologize for that. The only other drive that opens up when I plug my device in my USB is the drive with the folders for 'Flash','Game' etc.

Where do I move the system/res files for the custom firmware?

Thanks in advance. I'm probably getting annoying asking for this help now but I've never done anything like this before.

To the drive where Flash, Games etc is.
Sorry guys for not caring about dingoonity lately. It was nice to be with you, and maybe I'll come back, but not now...
