What kind of PMP is for me? (aka suggest some devices)

Don't make me a guinea pig. I'm not here to try a device that's been out for a day and hope it works as advertised. (I've already done that. See: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280812374052)

My Dingoo a330 w/ Dingux's battery recently died. R.I.P

I'm looking for something more affordable. Within the 20-60 price range. To tell you the honest truth I don't care for the games, unless we're talking about Playstation1 emulation, which I wasn't wasn't successful with on the a330. However, sorting through music easily while driving and playing video (not while driving :)) is REQUIREMENTS. Optional: is the fancy andriody looking OS and something that isn't too bulky (For example the Archos 5 internet tablet would be too bulky).

So far doing my not so thorough research I've  found the following:
JXD a1000
and these http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-4-3-TFT-8GB-HD-Mp3-Mp4-MP5-PMP-Player-Game-Video-TV-OUT-/130638234075?pt=Other_MP3_Players&hash=item1e6aa541db  but they look cruddy

Did that 32gb iPod knock-off end up being a reprogrammed 1 or 2 gb unit by any chance? There's been a slew of them on eBay that format as 32gb or whatever and then corrupt all your data when they get over their real capacity.

I bought one and tested it with h2testw, complained to the seller and got my money back but kept hold of the fake unit which still gets some use. Rubbish touch screen though.....
Handhelds:
GPD XD 64gb, 3DS XL, DSi XL, GBA SP, GBBC Clone, Gameboy Pocket, PSP Go
Consoles:
XBox360, Wii, PS2 Slim, PSOne
PC:
HP Touchsmart 11 (AMD A6)
Voyo A1 Mini
Psion 5 & 5MX

I put on at least 2+ GBs of music on it with no problem and in the settings it says it has plus 32,000 mb of space and had 29,000ish mb of free space after I had my music transferred on there.

I'm assuming it's correct.
