Problem with recognizing, copying files & internal memory
« on: September 22, 2012, 04:06:08 pm »
I've just received my Dingoo from DX and have these issues:

1. It had just empty first-lefel folders (MUSIC, etc...) when i turned it on for the first time. No emulators, games, pictures, anything.

2. When i tried to copy few games and default dingoo emulators from PC with Windows XP error said Failed: Parameter is incorrect. (but when i copy files one by one everything is ok).

3. After any error dingoo doesn't answer and after reboot folders are empty again (sometimes not).

I've tried: format disk with Linux tools, format disk on Windows XP, reinstall firmware, but the folders appeared again (maybe Dingoo generates them?). Also, music is playing for a few seconds and stop.

Please, help if you know what to do. Regards.

Well, since at this time, 58 other people have read this post and none of them have answered, since i'm pretty bored, i will anwer your question, from my perspective.

It seems VERY likely that you have a faulty unit.
If you haven't already, you should contact the seller about getting it replaced or getting a refund on it.

If those two fail, i'm sure you can sell/trade it from someone for other gaming gear.
People are always looking for replacement Dingoo A320 shell casings (i'm one of them) and you should find little trouble doing at least that.

Sorry for your trouble with this unit, i hope that it doesn't leave such a bitter taste in your mouth that you completely lose all interest in th A320, because it is truly a wonderful little handheld.
