It seems that a lot of panic about the "fake" models was caused by drama between 2 Dingoo companies that split up, called each other fake, tried hacking each others' websites, defacing the Wikipedia page, etc... It's been a while since I caught up on the whole fiasco, but I think there were really just 3 big issues with with the fake "HK" models:
1. It comes with a MAGICAL EXPLODING WALL CHARGER.
2. Scrambled sprites on some Neo-Geo games.
3. Incompatibility with some native apps, some needed to be recompiled to work.
There may have also been a minor issue with the memory, but I don't know how much it affected performance. I think the Dingux developers were able to get it running on the HK models just as well as the originals, so you might be okay with the "fake" A320 as long as you:
1. Get a different wall charger, or use the slower but safer method of charging via your computer's USB
2. Install OpenDingux.
