Change Voice On Text To Speech?
« on: December 18, 2009, 04:42:16 pm »
Has anyone found a way to change the voice of the Chinese women on the text to speech reader on the a320? Maybe use a English voice that uses proper english ;D

Thanks

Does anyone know how to locate the voice file in the Dingoo Firmware at least?

Thanks

i think it is blocked...probably the same reason why they can not simply remove dingoo OS and replace with dingux

actually that's because no-ones written a driver to use the internal storage yet, and it's a bad idea as we have filesystem corruption issues

if you use one of the unofficial firmwares, you might be able to find something in the system folder, but no idea where, and it's probably some strange format file/etc, so very unrealistic that anyone could change it

you'd get further wanting a text to speech reader for dingux, at least then it's feasable (sp?)

I see this all the time, but I still don't get why we can't store roms on the NAND and then mount it as read-only, with save files being saved to the SD card. It'd work, right?

yes but still, no-ones gone and written a driver for it, feel free to try though, its not like it requires any programming knowledge  ;D
