Wonderswan emulation
« on: November 17, 2013, 08:43:35 pm »
Hi Guys,

Is the Wonderswan emulater nuiWSC included with the Mega-Pack 2 still the best emulator on native? Also, I've been struggling to get it working - what ROM format do you need?

Any help much appreciated.

nuiWSC is the only Wonderswan emulator I'm aware of for Dingoo Native.

Roms in .ws format work for me.

Gah! I shoulda read the developer's blog. The description on openhandhelds.org says "Create the folder .\GAME\WSC, in this folder copy the roms files who has .WAS extension.", but the blog says "Crea la carpeta .\GAME\WSC, copia las roms a las que quieres jugar con extensi?n .ws."

No wonder my roms with .was and .wsc extensions weren't showing up in the file browser.. Do you know if I can just rename them, or will I need a converter/new download?

I would start with renaming one of the roms to .ws and check if it works. Haven't seen any converter.

Thanks, that worked for me. No sound though & no access to emulator menu, is that just my problem or is that the same with everyone? Have to admit I've only tried one game. Anyway, its better than nothing & lt looks great on the Dingoo, much brighter of course .
