Super FX Chip

I am aware that a few SNES games will not work due to the FX chip compatibility. However, will it be possible to emulate such games in the future through firmware/dingux updates? An individual (forgive me for not knowing who you are, but thanks for the upgrade!) just got Star Ocean to work on the dingoo, and Star Ocean requires the SDD1 chip, so it should be possible...right?

In theory many things are possible, but in the past, the emulators in the native firmware didn't got updated, so I think it is unlikely, that Dingoo Digital will update them in the future.
On Dingux, an implementation of the Super FX Chip is more likely, but it will slow the emulation down, I don't know how much, but it is quite possible, that games will be to slow and then it won't make sense to implement the Super FX into the emulation.

Hi.

Star Ocean was possible and it don't slow down, because Sdd1 is only a graphic compression algorithm. On the Opposite the FX chips need quite more ressources. I think it's possible, but only slow and unplayable and onyl for Dingux!

In my personal opinion, it's not worth to work on this.

And what about the Super Accelerator 1 (SA-1) chip? Could be possible to emulate that on the dingoo?
