SNES freezing.
« on: April 20, 2012, 01:18:13 am »
I have a Dingoo A330LE (aka Gemei A330 Fashion) and everything works fine on it but I can't even open the SNES folder because it freezes. I have firmware 1.1.

I tried both "All Files" and "Directory Browsing" and the whole system locks up when I try to look at any SNES games. None of my roms are bad and this doesn't happen when I try to open Genesis or GBA games, which all run flawlessly.

Whats up with that?

For some reason, i find that the GA330 can only handle so many rom files in the built in memory. It's silly i know. I did alot of trouble shooting trying to get it down to a numbr of roms, with all systems together (nes, snes, gba, neogeo, cps1/2) and then i did get it to work without crashing everytime, but then i lost interest and now i barely ven use it. It;s nice to look at but i get more use from my A320s. You could just try playing your games off a mini-sd card until you figure out what the rom limit is for the main mem...Just an idea...
