No - as far as I know there isn't a Sam Coupe emulator.

Even in then UK where it was manufactured, this wasn't the most common computer around. It was meant to be some sort of super-spectrum (It was 8bit, with a Z80A CPU and could even be made to run 48K spectrum games) but in practice cost nearly as much as an Atari ST! So not a major commercial success although it was well loved by the few that owned one.

The Same Coupe was decent, it was not cheap though.

It was about on par with a ST near enough.

Sadly it was a system that came out after the Amiga 500 and Atari ST had been around for a while and the price meant it was better off spending the extra to get a Atari ST or Amiga.

I guess its kinda like the Wii vs Xbox 360 and PS3.... the weaker Wii had advantage because of the brand name and software support and how inovative it was.

The Coupe offered nothing that the Amiga and ST could do, apart from play Speccy Games.

I wanted my mom to get me one, lucky she never had money and instead at latter point when the coupe was dying, i got a used Amiga 500 instead. ;)
