Quick Question about Megadrive/genesis roms with .bin extension
« on: November 25, 2009, 12:49:46 pm »
This has sort of been answered by the FAQ on Dingoo888 but I seem to be getting conflicting information here, so I'd want to clarify for sure: ???

The Sega Megadrive emulator on native OS can only play roms with the .smd extension, correct?
Does that mean that all my current Megadrive roms with ".bin" can just be renamed in windows and they will run ok on the Dingoo native firmware?

Or is a special .bin to .smd converter programme required? Would I need to run each ".bin" rom through this to convert it into a .smd file?

Sorry for being such a noob at this!  ::)

Yep, just rename the roms.
