« on: August 18, 2010, 03:33:16 pm »
Hi,

I've just bought a new A330 and it's running dinguX V1.2

It's a crap GUI, any ideas how I can upgrade it to a nicer frontend?

Also I have Mario Kart on the Snes emulator but it doesnt run correctly....again any ideas?

Thanks in advance  ;D

If you're using a new A330 out-of-the-box, you're not running Dingux. Dingux does not come pre-installed on the A330 and needs to live on an SD card. I'm going to assume you meant version 1.2 of the native firmware.

If that is the case, then you're in the same situation as pretty much every other Dingoo owner (A320 and A330): the SNES emulator for the native OS cannot run certain games, among them Super Mario Kart.

You have two options:
1) If you really want to play the SNES version of Super Mario Kart, install Dingux, since the most current SNES emulator for Dingux does run Super Mario Kart.
2) If you don't want to bother with Dingux, play the GBA version.

That's not necessarily true, there are plenty of eBay sellers who pre-install Dingux & supply you with the SD card.

Depends on what you mean by "scam".

Either way, it's functional and it's quality is on par with a derpaduhhhhhrrr "real" A320.
