Look in your "Games" folder. Do you have the files CPS1.SIM and CPS2.SIM?
If you don't, nothing you try is going to work, you need those files.
One can go to the DingooWiki, and click on Dingoo emulators, to get to download links for those.
They are part of original Dingoo firmware, that is to say, coming out-of-the-box, you should have these files. BUT, with so many people updating and altering their firmware...and getting bricked and then unbricking....sometimes, people forget, much of the custom firmware out there does not include all those built-in files...and, if you ever wiped your Dingoo, and then saved it...and loaded up new firmware, you may have forgotten to re-add these files.
Same goes if you are having trouble with, say GBA games. Always look for the .SIM file in your "Games" folder. without the .SIM file, you do not have the emulator...the .SIM file IS the emulator. Without the right emulator, your dingoo will not usually even see the file folders. although, in some cases, with ones that are native to the Dingoo, as in, it should be there "out-of-the-box" I am not sure if that last statement is correct.
Anyway, check if you have the corresponding .SIM files, and, if not, now you know where you can download them.
By the way, CPS1 runs off the .zip files. CPS2...sometimes runs off the .zip files, sometimes, they need to be converted, and it seems you know this and have the converter.
You might also be interested in MVS.SIM, a NEO-GEO emulator, and the roms for those almost always need to be converted by yet a different converter you can download elsewhere (Google's your friend) although, occasionally, .zip's will work for MVS, you usually need an MVS converter, and to convert the files to .mvs format for them to run.
Hope that was helpful!
