GNUBOY error with dingoonity 1.2b firmware
« on: May 14, 2010, 06:47:04 pm »
Dear joyrider,

as first a very very big thanks for your great GNUBOY native port which I use every day but I have a big problem with your ported GNUBOY version and the dingoonity firmware 1.2b.

The problem is that GNUBOY wouldn't save the settings inside the GAME folder onto the memory card and wouldn't load my custom gnuboy.tga frames from the GAME folder onto the memory card.

Both problems will be only solved if I create a GAME folder inside the internal memory. But the target of the dingoonity firmware 1.2b is that only ONE GAME folder exists onto the memory card.

So could you please fix this?

best regards

This isn't a problem, you're supposed to put the gnuboy.sim on the internal memory, under X:\GAME\, as it's where it will always store the config file and read custom frames. You can still navigate to the memory card and start the games from there, even though the emulator is stored on the internal memory.
