GBA Emulator "Read Strategy" option
« on: January 23, 2010, 05:46:38 am »
In the Misc. Settings on the GBA emulator there's an option called Read Strategy. I assume it allows you to read text files within the same folder as the game but when I click it it just says "Text file can not find in the current directory".

Does anyone know what I have to name the file as for it t show up?

Sorry all. It turns out all you have to do is give the .txt file the same name as the game. It's pretty useless for full walkthus. There's no bookmark so it puts you back at the top of the file if you leave the emulator and it scrolls really slowly. To get much use out of it you'd have trim the walkthru down to a few useful bits.

I've had no problems with that at all.
I've been playing Minish Cap with a walkthrough, and it seems to save my spot in the walkthrough just fine.

Maybe you have to save state before exiting?

Also, regarding the scroll speed being really slow:
Use left and right to go up and down whole screens at a time.
