A330 SNES emulator
« on: June 16, 2014, 07:49:37 am »
I've recently bought a Dingoo A330 from Funstock. After loading a number of SNES games onto it I've found that it only recognises the english games and not the american versions. Do I need to change the emulator?

Do you mean they are not playing, or not even showing up in the file browser? If the latter, check file extensions. The default emulator needs roms with the extension .smc. Roms with the extension .sfc can be changed with a converter, or you can play them with DingooSnes (look for DEP version 2.0) or the .app version of PocketSNES.
My machines:
GBC,GBA,GBA SP,NDS,NGPC,Panasonic FZ-10 3DO,NES,Sega Nomad,Sega CDX w/Power Base Converter,PS1,PS2,PS3,Saturn,Dreamcast,PC (Win 98, XP, 7),Dingoo A320,Dingoo A330,Gemei A330,LetCool N350JP,PAP-GAMETA,GCW-Zero SE,Kyocera Rise,2DS,GP2X-F100,GPD G7,JXD 100,JXD A1000,JXD A3300,JXD F3000,JXD V5000,JXD S7300B,Hyperkin SupaBoy

Many thanks for the response. Could you please tell me what are the extensions for NES, GBC, GB, GBA and Master system games.

Well, you just got them all right already, except for "Master System", for which the extension is "SMS".  :)

Many thanks - I thought as much. It was advertised as playing these files straight from the box but when I've transferred files with these extensions on to the console it's only recognised the SMD & SMC files. I know they're there because I can see them using the browser but I cannot open/play them.
