Dingoo Camera Concept
« on: March 23, 2010, 12:30:34 am »
So I ordered a PSP Camera off of Ebay (Roughly 63 dollars) and i put it into my dingoo.. it fits snug when the screw is removed on the right side... I was looking into making a software to support the camera output and i get nothing. Help?

Dingoo does not support USB host mode, you can't connect any devices to it, sorry.

I'm pretty sure the chipset could support host since we have direct hardware access, but the psp camera doesn't use standard USB protocols.

The 4740 processor does support the camera interface maybe not that specific interface but here are the white pages on the 4740

I own a cheap PMP with a camera in it. Assuming it uses the same connections, I could probably solder the camera to the Dingoo. However, I'd need software to go with it. The firmware doesn't seem to support it, so I guess I'm out of luck.
