Development process question
« on: March 12, 2010, 08:11:44 pm »
Hi, there is one thing i would like to ask - exists any "automated" way to upload .app to dingoo, test it and so on without fiddling with connecting/disconnecting/resetting device and so on? For example in homebrew ps2 devel is ps2link appliaction which allows you to upload via network(although there is no "fully featured" networking in native dingoo os) binary to console for testing and do the run termination among other things. I'd really appreciate to hear what is your approach to modify & compile & test cycle ...

I'm using simple batch files. One to compile, and one to copy over the app to the dingoo.

Yep, but what about mass storage and connecting usb cable?  Are you every time connect & disconnect usb cable and manually run tested executable?

Yes, I connect, run batch file, disconnect.

The official SDK provides an alternative set of libraries to link to I believe. It's possible to compile and run applications on Windows. If someone has enough time I guess you could do the same thing with the unofficial SDK/libraries out there.
