you'd probably have better luck asking the q-hardware mailing list :P

but the nano charges from a mini-usb, the only question is can any of those provide enough current at 5v(500mA is more than enough)

do you think there is mini usb?

also, would 5.5v be harmful? What about 7.0v?

if the charger has say a 1350 mah or 2000 mah battery, does it still need to have output of 500 mah? some chargers have only 180 mah output.

put it this way, the dingoo charges off [email protected], that's what it's specced for at least, so it could try and draw up to 500, might do, might not, no-ones bothered to check (you can if you have a multimeter and a usb cable you don't mind butchering)

shouldn't they say in their specs what connectors they have? but tbh most things should have a mini usb on them, at least if they're marketed for charging phones etc

Hi, I actually built my own solar panels as it was both cheap and easy to do... Everything I got from ebay...

2 x solar cells 7.5v @ 500mah
1 x voltage regulator 5v @ 500mah
some usb connectors

From here you can wire the panels up in serial or parallel to get either 15v @ 500mah or 7.5v @ 1000mah, you can verify this with a multimeter... The voltage regulator then regulates the voltage at 5v 500mah to make sure it never lets out more power than that, so you wont kill your dingoo... Then a female usb connector so you can hook up a usb cable to your dingoo...

It's almost as easy as hooking up a light bulb to a battery... you can find guides on youtube and google.
I would link you to the items but there of course not there now due to the items being sold on ebay...

If you want to take this route then please feel free to get in touch and ask questions...

Oh and from this setup I've managed to charge up two of dingoo's a few times and play some gigs using piggy tracker :)

Motorola charger is synonymous with mini-usb so I am just asking manufacturers about output current.

I plan to make my own panels later after I have more knowledge but need to taste solar freedom first.

Also found this out:

Battery capacity is :2600mAH
output current is DC300-1000mA
output voltage is DC5.5V

this one will work too, right?
