Unfortunately after this amazing fan game was released (v1.1) DoctorM64 received a cease and desist letter from Nintendo and so the project died after that. There was an unofficial apk but it didn't had gamepad support, also the virtual keys couldn't be removed. Somehow version 1.4.1 was released and now there's official support for Android. I just tried it and it's working perfectly. Grab it before Nintendo attacks again:

Thanks for the heads up Tiagao! Tested and works with Moto Gamepad. Have to go into Options and Controller settings using touch screen first, then select Joypad Options. From there you can manually configure the buttons by selecting them with the touch screen, then pressing the corresponding button on the gamepad.

Glad to see the dev was able to get his work out to mobile, especially after the Nintendo shutdown. I wish other PC devs would follow suit, like the devs behind the DBZ Fighting game, or the Sonic before and after sequel games. But I understand the IP Forces would frown upon it.

Just tested it and it's working really well on gpd XD. I would just hope that we could get aliases for button naming (a la Playstation or XBOX) instead of weird number (currently it displays button 18, 19...)
That's a bit strange since PC version let you choose if you want to display tips with playstation or xbox naming (which is usefull if you have a DS4 gamepad with DS4windows which make your device seen as an xbox gamepad on PC).

Anyway, that's an a awesome indie game.
