Dual boot tablets with higher than Android Lollipop?
« on: May 06, 2018, 09:33:34 pm »
Hi all,
I have a Teclast X98 Pro tablet which is pretty good for what it cost and runs Windows 10 very nicely but Android is Lollipop 5.1.

I'd like something with a newer version of Android but all the new tablets I see also only have Lollipop.

Is there any reason why in 2018 new dual boot tablets come with Lollipop still and not Oreo or Nougat?

Intel "oficial" support sdk for atoms stopped after Lollipop. Only way IS to see if there IS a custom ROM for it.

Ah so it's chip related.
Damn, I'd love a newer dual boot tablet.
