"A320WH9330047" is FAKE DINGOO

If you bought dingoo recently, please check your dingoo?s serial number, it was printed in the speakers side of your dingoo.

If it is "A320WH9330047" , then you are one of victims of FAKE DINGOOs.

Recently , a bundle of FAKE DINGOOs share a same serial number: "A320WH9330047" (funny thing is it has different serial number printed in the box, so don?t only check the serial number printed in the box ).

In real dingoos, "WH" means white dingoo, "BK" means black dingoo.

Fake dingoos use uncertified charger , a client has report it is exploded , be careful.

The fake dingoo will be locked if you try to update the higher firmware version , such as 1.6 version.

Beta 1.6 version firmware can be download here:

http://www.ccdang.com/DownSoft/?softid=4431&pathid=1

According to the chinese law , if you got the fake product , you can claim double money back from the seller.

Are you sure? My serial number is that exactly (but mine is black, despite the serial being WH), and I've installed custom firmware and everything and it all seems to work perfectly. I mean, I had one slight problem after installing custom firmware (Yi-Chi King Fighter refused to work), but other than that it was 100%.

I got one of this "Fake Dingoos". I bought it recently from dx. Apparently there is nothing wrong the Dingoo works very well. I have a lot of things installed and everything works fine. But the real problem that is fearing me is the possibility of the charger explode and f## with everything  :-\

I opened a ticket in DX and they are finding a solution. I have to mention here that dealextreme is being very attentive for the problem and they are helping a lot.

Out of curiosity ... does your dingoo show the pixelation with certain neo geo games?

Regarding the charger: I personally could not care less.
I have an "old" dingoo, but have not once used the included charger.
I mostly use my phone usb charger and sometimes my computer.

General sideremark:
"A320WH9330047" is FAKE DINGOO!"
I do not find it soo shocking that a black dingoo has a white serial.
I find it shocking that thousands of dingoos have THE SAME number ;-PP

You should be able to charge via USB without any problem, and with any non-cheap charger with the right port, providing the voltage/etc matches.

@omgmog

Thanks for the fast answer

Tell me something, i have this two chargers here:

1) Input: 100-240V 50/60Hz 1A
    Output: 5V 1A

2) Input: 100-240V 50/60Hz
Output: 5V 1000mA

Can i use one of this in my dingoo without any trouble?

The especifications of my dingoo's charger is:

? Input: 100-240V 50/60Hz 120mA
? Output: 5V 700mA

Thanks a lot!  :)

I would never use the charger which comes with the dingoo at all. And its even better to use a charger with about 1000mah, because the battery would load up faster. ;)

Dingoo uses USB for charging.

USB specification states 5v, 500ma (0.5A)

So you can either charge with a USB cable and your PC, or with either of your chargers.
They both provide more current than the PC USB port or the "original" dingoo charger (1000ma (=1A) vs. 700ma for dingoo charger, or 500ma PC USB port)

Conclusion:
Use ANYTHING with a MiniUSB plug that is NOT the included charger.

Why do I need this? Its an 1800mah lipo battery which should be loaded maximum at about 1c which is 1800mah. And the battery will load faster with 1000mah charger than with the 700mah one, or whats wrong?

I think the Dingoo draws a fixed amount of power, but i?m not so sure. Some people frying their Dingoos may be an indicator that the Dingoo draws what it can get, right?

you forgot about the charging circuitry, as it's a lithium battery the current has to be carefully controlled to stop it from breaking (exploding, setting alight etc etc), can't be bothered to work out the actual values of safe charging etc, but it's safe to say it's limited below what the charger can supply, to account for fluctuations in mains, and the rest of the dingoo needing power while it's charging

but that's all a tad technical really, simple version is it probably doesn't require teh full 500mA form a usb port, so obviously wouldn't use anything extra  (if i get time i'll measure it sometime  :D)

As long as the output doesn't oscillate all over the place (*cough* dingoo charger *cough*) then use whatever you like, usb port on a pc, phone charger etcetc (mine always stays charged as It's hardly ever unplugged from my development pc, HTC charges definitely work aswell

Well, I don't know of any good NeoGeo games (didn't play arcade machines as a kid), nor do I know where to get ROMs for them, nor do I know how to convert them. And no, I'm not asking how to get Neo-Geo ROMs. I'm sure I could Google it if I so desperately needed them. However, I definitely do not know how to convert them to use on the Dingoo.
