Hi, you guys, what's your favorite retro game on your device？

I usually play my favorite retro games on my jxd s7800b:

Final Fight One( GB)
Golden Sun DS( GB)
Pokemon( GB)
Final Fantasy(PPSSPP)
Yoshi Island(SNES)

Kirby's Adventure. That is still my favorite game of all time.

Yoshi's Island is another good choice you mentioned.

Final Fantasy. I've probably played through it with every possible job combination, twice.  :P

On NES, PS1, and GBA. Have not yet tried it on MSX or Android, PSP will be next.

All the GB/GBC/GBA Zeldas, Mystic Quest (GB), Mario Land 2 (GB), Rastan (MS), Golden Axe (MD), Colin McRae (PS1), G Darius (PS1), Sagaia (MS), Nemesis (GB), Solar Striker (GB).

There's loads more, I have a thing for original GB games so they usually get preference!

EDIT Forgot all the Metroidvanias, how could I leave out those? Everything from SotN up to the first 2 DS ones will keep me entertained for hours.

I love manic miner from zx spectrum :)  I love original donkey kong 1&2

King of the Fighters 98 and 99 are always in the "Last Played" section of Neo.emu

Other than that, Metal Slugs 1-3, Pulstar, Shock Troopers, GigaWing, Shadow Over Mystara, Dodopachi, Castlevanias (up to SOTN), Ghouls and Ghosts, Maldita Castilla, Strikers 1945, Saturn Bomberman, Manic Miner,... All the Bioware D&D are also creme de la creme...

The list is huge and to choose just one would break my heart, but, I have to choose one I would say it would be KOF 98 (or Baldurs Gate, depending on the day). To my mind they are deep as hell and are still unsurpassed in their genres, ,which, incidentally are my favourite genres  ;)

You guys are going to laugh, but my favorite retro game would probably either be super Noah's ark 3d or Earth Defender for watara supervision :)

Interesting choices!

I have a few Watara Supervisons from back when I collected for it. I'll have to try out Earth Defender. Do you play it on an emulator or original hardware. The ghosting on the screen makes most games unplayable on original hardware IMO.

I owned the game, but my friend owned a console and TV link. A lot less ghosting on a crt TV and best of all 4 colors! Nowadays I play them using the potator emulator. Earth defender still makes me laugh. :)

Knights of Valour, published by IGS. It's in Chinese, but it's chock- full of side- scrolling beat em' up goodness. Secrets, fun glitches, and a large world to play in.
