Not deciding on the fan right now means that they will have an excuse when they can't deliver in Sept.

so far so good ,no complain in this moment, they said nothing concrete about the Fan yet,for sure we know the rear back case is removable and its going have some vents grill, i am trying to convince in this matters.
my other concern is about the Zpad how they are going to hold and i said to use like circular ring cover like tied and untied on top of the Zpad, when you want  to use it for specific game.

People who didn't buy the Win because they rather wait for this are going to wait a lot.

I don't believe anything good is going to come from this.

At this rate they're going to be launching a device with a 28nm processor in 2018.

@leafar - Do you have access to their forum?  What do you mean by 'so far so good'?  Is it in relation to Fan or No Fan?

@leafar -  Not asking for details here.  Do you feel good with their latest update?  Do you feel that they will meet their Sept release?

no yet about the fan,the back case removable and it going to have some vents,i think depend when they start testing the prototype,if it need they would do it..
4 cells of 3250 mAH at 3.7V. Li-Ion. Weigh 60 gr each cell.

Sounds like they are planning for the batteries to be swappable?

Also, from what you said about the batteries, it sounds like they will use four 18650 batteries, probably Panasonic.

Apparently AMD are making 14nm dual-core SoCs with Zen cores, Vega graphics and LPDDR4 support: https://videocardz.com/69428/amd-snowy-owl-naples-starship-grey-hawk-river-hawk-great-horned-owl

Maybe some day we'll see a Smach Z2 which uses a part like this?

Smach Z got Smacked down.  A few recent comments from indiegogo are bleak.  burned CPU and Case.  Yikes..
