Very cool! But the price is a heavy pill to swallow, even if that's expected. At least with ED in charge you can be sure there will be no fuckery going on.

I'm not in the market for this right now but if preorders are still open later this year I might jump on board but that's a big maybe because by then I'll probably be focusing my attention on GPD WIN impressions.

I must admit , the Pyra does appear to have a better D-Pad than the WIN.

I am concerned though about the proximity of the Face buttons with the keyboard keys.  I know this was an issue when ED tested the prototype , he said he would raise the face buttons to fix the issue, but I'd like to see a review to confirm if that's the case.

That was my concern as well with "X" hovering right above backspace. I suppose it couldn't of been helped with the speakers there. Those two smaller action buttons, Delete and Insert, are a little worrisome too. Not that you'd maybe inadvertently press them so much as you'd feel their presence when playing. As you know, I mocked up a keyboard layout where Delete and Insert were up top and those mini buttons became the undefined user keys...

BTW, did ED ever settle on the color of the case? Presumably it is red, though I'd have chosen a more neutral, less polarizing color for this beauty: midnight black.

I don't think he has chosen any colors yet.  Not unless I missed that news.
