My supercard Just turned up... yayyyy some GBA time coming lol
Prepare for slowdows.... Supercard unfortunately has a slow ram chip onboard
There is slow-down, but that can usually be adjusted in the emu menu, particularly effective for the occassional slow NES game.
I think the main thing Supercard-SD has over EZ flash IV is that it has batch patching, so you can patch ALL of your GBA roms at once for use, whereas, from what i hear, on the EZ flash IV you have to do them one by one or something to that effect, correct me if i'm wrong...
EDIT: Both Supercard-SD and EZ Flash IV do batch processing.
Supercard-SD is cheaper (aprox. $25) and supports more emulated systems:
- Master System
As far as i'm aware of so far.
Once again, correct me if i'm wrong...
Noted and corrected, thanks!
Yeah, a while back someone on an older post stated that it wasn't so, and i took his word for it, my mistake...
Man, i wish someone with good writing skills and some time on his/her hands would sit down and create at least a TXT compendium of all of these little details, it's going to be (if it isn't already) very time consuming to track down all this kind of info, even on this site.
It'd be very practical and would make for an interesting read for retro videogame handheld enthusiasts like ourselves...
