Which emulation device
« on: July 04, 2014, 09:49:53 am »
Hi there,
since the Revo K101 is not able to play GBC pokemon games I am looking for a other emulation device which is about the same sice (which means for me devices like CGW, Dingoo etc.). For emulation of devices like PSX, N64 etc. I use my Gametab One.
This device is for real portable gaming and should be able to play NES, SNES, Master System, GB, GBC and GBA.

Which device (with a good build quality) is capable of all of this and the cheapest?
Handhelds:
Game Boy Classic, Game Boy Advance SP Classic NES Edition + EZ Flash IV, Nintendo DSLite + M4i Gold, PSP 1001, Big Ben Gametab One

Consoles:
Nintendo Super Enterteinment System, Nintendo Wii with Homebrew Channel, Sony Playstation 1, Sony Playstation 2, Sony Playstation 3

GCW Zero, of course. Maybe not the cheapest, but most obvious choice.

I thought the dingoo ones where also capable of doing all that I need and aren't they a lot cheaper? What about the Gemei, whats the difference between Dingoo and Geimei?

Read this, this is a brief chronology if the dingoo / gemei devices. You can find others like that on internet, but let me warn you: there are a LOT of dingoo / gemei / dingoo-like devices, and there is no perfect device yet.

The GCW is better than the others, but it is very difficult to find one if you don't live in america.
And wait for me to test the save option on the k101 (see the other thread), maybe it works.

I believe you can buy one from thinkgeek and have it shipped world-wide.
