An Advertisement for the Dingoo & Dingoonity
« on: May 03, 2012, 09:31:18 PM »
Hi all

I'm learning the Final Cut studio for work, and I was looking for a project to practice some basics on, so I decided to make a video about the Dingoo. There are more than enough unboxing, review, and tutorial videos out there on YouTube, but there wasn't a really slick ad. I decided to make an advertisement for the A320 and our community.

Right now I've got the video set to Unlisted, meaning that only people I share the link with will be able to see it. I consider it still a bit of a rough draft. I wanted to get a response from the community before I send it off into the world of YouTube. Any thoughts?

(Watch it in 720p if you've got the bandwidth!)

Edit: As per Zear's suggestion I've added some of footage of some PC ports. Doom FTW!

The video is now public on Youtube. I hope it drives some eyes toward the site. I know that when I was first investigating the Dingoo, YouTube was one of the first sites I visited looking for info.

I like the way you showed transferring the games to the memory card.

Thanks. Obviously I simplified that part a little.  ;)
I wanted to show that it was as simple as drag and drop without slowing down the pace of the video.

I love it!
Though why didn't you show some non-emulated games, like Duke Nukem, Doom or Cave Story? So far it makes impression of that cheap emulation device. But Dingoo can do a lot more! Also, some homebrew, like Sqrxz 3 or Mutant Tank Knights would be great to show.
Either way, a great video and I love the style and everything :)

That's a good point! I didn't shoot any footage of Doom, though I have it installed and love it. I'll do that before I publish the final video.
I haven't played Sqrxz 3 yet, though it looks cool, and I hadn't even heard of Mutant Tank Knights! I'm going to have to try them!

Very nicely done, I loved watching it.

I don't have any criticisms as nothing stood out as being wrong or needing improvement.

I've never really seen the Dingoo as a suitable media player. Then again I've been spoiled by the iPhone. :-)
