New video showing Megadrive/Genesis, Master System and PC Engine.

By the way, init.d support can be added to machine, so there are some things than can be optimized.

Good pics SNESFAN, it's always good knowing the device inside. Too bad that the battery is actually 2200mAH, instead of 2500mAh like the specifications said. That could explain why the battery can't last not even 3 hours.

PS: Nice nickname, i envy. :P

I just got my s602 today from willgoo. Its my first android handheld and i got it pretty much because everyone said it was one of the better devices out there for the price. After messing with it for most of today, i think i'll like it, but i dont know enough about flashing and rooting and all that to know for sure...

What i'm mostly interested in is getting rid of the godawful widgets, vertical categories and installation packages on the home screen...i cant believe these cannot be easily deleted and replaced by the user.

Can anyone please help me with that?

You'll need to download a launcher from Google Play. Something like GO launcher. You can't customize the stock home screen that much

Install another launcher as lemonlimer said. I also suggest rooting the device and use Titanium Backup to get rid of all the preinstalled soft you don't want.

...Buy it and don't copy it Robert Broglia make a very good job....

+1

I think I've said on here before that he's a very helpful guy, when I had problems with scaling issues (on my old Sony X10 Mini Pro) he replied really quickly and actually sent me modded .apk files to try. Seemed very eager to sort things out even though I didn't buy the emulator with the X10 in mind.

Excellent emulator too, playing Rondo of Blood and Gate/Lords of Thunder with the full CD soundtrack is killer!
Handhelds:
JXD S7300b, Dingoo, DS Lite, GBA SP, PSP, HTC One X, HTC Dream.
Netbooks/Palmtops:
Acer 522 (4gb ram) Radeon 6310 - MSI Wind U230 (4gb ram and DTV card installed)
Psion Series 5 and 5mx, Psion Series 3 and Psion Siena

I have noticed that audio lag is present in this device in a more noticeable way than s601. Of course audio lag it's a common problem in Android Emulators, but I think that this device presents more audio lag than others I have, specially in Robert Broglia emulators. Nothing that ruins the experiene, but this should be fixed.

pelya's SDL-lib has been very instrumental in making several emulators at http://anddev.at.ua/ including the wonderful ScummVM SDL, which I've never experienced lag with. Perhaps Robert should look at incorporating this library (and also finally be able to give us filters)

Practically all of them, but it is very noticeable in Robert Broglia emulators (MD.emu, PCE.emu, SNES9xEX, etc....), but this is a common problem in Android emulators like qberaddict explained in this video.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzXRyFQM3Ts" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzXRyFQM3Ts</a>

Specially it is noticeable if you cpmpare with other devices that emulate like Dingoo o Caanoo,

After some research it is not a emulator problem but an Android known audio latency problem
It will be corrected in the next version of android as you can see in this video

Yeah, I meant an Android problem, though some emulators have better sound than others, I suppose depending on the libraries they use. Any case, sound lag is quite minimal and we can enjoy machine without much trouble.

a thread about latency for the one interested by

I think that if a dingux like was ported on the s602 this unit, it will become a very good low price alternative to the
others like neogeox and GCW-0. But we need to have the git access to the linux source code of generaplus :-(
I asked them but no reply

Still have emails bouncing back and forth with them, they're setting me up with an engineer account.

Lots of red tape, but still making progress
