Some awesome JXD S7800b tweaks!
« on: January 06, 2014, 03:57:35 am »
Okay so i was trying out the xposed framework over tanworks latest rom(Which i really appreciate!) and I wanted to show some of them to you guys.
<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20190313162229/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTHN5gpZpqs" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTHN5gpZpqs</a>

The modules I used are

xhalofloatingwindow for the floating apps
XthemeEngine for the cobalt metal theme
GravityBox for about everything else including the reboot menu and custom tiles

I did the same thing, the Xposed framework is pretty sweet with the Xtheme Engine. ;D

This looks pretty neat but I admit I know nothing about it.

Few questions...

Does it slow the system down in any way?

You said you used this with Tans firmware. Does it come with it or is this something to download separately? If separate do I need to download a bunch of stuff or is there an all-in-one package?

It doesnt affect battery or performaces. ( Unless you add something that does so )

And you will find it if you search Xposed Framework. Its a simplr apk. Through the app you must install the framework and then go to download section and select modules you want.

Each module is an apk so you can manage or remove ot easily.

What do you mean ?

Somebody pointed out on the forum that it opens up the possibility that apps would use it in a malware fashion.
I didn't go through the whole thread so it may have been prevented.

Every non market app could be a malware. Xposed Framework is pretty famous now and not as a malware

Just as Kingzak34 said, it's fairly easy to install, the files and themes come in .apk format, theirs just settings and rebooting involved.
