What firmware you running? the non-T's on stock 1.1.4 and earlier run at 1.6.. the T's run at 1.4
install a terminal emulator on your device and open it up, type "SU"
then type dmesg > \mnt\sdcard\dmesg.log

transfer the file dmesg.log on your scard to your computer and look for where it initializes the mali GPU
the T's have a different freq table for the mali.

the mali line here on the board.

It's nice they have a US warehouse, (assuming you're in the US) the shipping cost back will be a fraction of what would be to send to China (as you already know)

I have isues with my first 78, was gonna cost to much to send it back, the company (fox offer) is shit anyway so I guess that point is moot.
