Cheers mate im looking forward to it. The whole thing is really strange especially when i managed to download 71% of ff3 before it ran out of bat and died on me.

*edit* 4 hours later all ive done is charge the device fully and google play is now allowing me to download - it fixed itself :)   Not sure whether it'll give me invalid download url error, fingers crossed.

Try this new update from recovery:

I haven't a device to test it, so not sure if it will work. I recommend doing a wipe cache before installing it. After install, add your google account again and see if it works. If this doesn't work, then I'm really out of ideas, since it's strange all the problems you are having with google play.

RE- Enigma- may i suggest you download skeltons custom firmware, and the kernal update. It is a substantial improvement to the stock firmware, and the kernal update truly helps with the consoles stability.

Than I would suggest you torrent whatever roms you want from the web, download better emulators (the ones pre-installed/included in skeltons firmware are good and functional, but I have found some I like more for different reasons), and you will have a much better experience with your console.

Enjoy, and theres always plenty of help here if you need it, read this whole board if you have the time, youll learn a lot about your console.

Cupofsoup, aka Teacup

Thanks, and thanks Skelrom

Took your advice using Skelroms update he has created and console is working fine and more than happy with how it performs and runs everything.

Look forward to being a frequent member of the forum.

parker peters- As Skelton suggested, opening the console and removing your sd card is the best route. Had to do it myself.

Just be careful and read my step by step for doing so earlier in the forum, actually I believe the process has been posted several times throughout this board. Once you get it removed from your console, take care on placing the sd card the proper way into it. It only took me making the mistake once to never want to do it again.

Enigma- Glad to help point you in the right way and happy to hear your consoles doing great. Enjoy it. I love mine, its just what I wanted and expected, thanks to Skelton and his hard work.

To all- I have been interested in taking advantages of the TV out function, however, I have a few questions. What is everyone's experiences with lag? Is it possible to use an HDMI to component RGB video and audio cable?

I tried a 3.5mm to RCA analog video/audio cable, but it does not work. The only two solutions are a 3.5mm to RGB component or utilization of the HDMI port, as output is digital.

The 3.5mm to RCA analog should work but using the Android 2.3 firmware. Maybe if JXD makes this app for the ICS firm it should work too.

Skelton- Im not willing to flash again. I love my console running on ICS with your custom rom and kernal update. I dont want to lose my saves to my games or anything just for analog tv out.  :)

Haha, I know. I've been insisting to JXD that they release CVBS tv-out app for ICS too, but at the moment no response of them. I used HDMi in ICS and worked quite fine, though my TV is only 720p, maybe at a higher resolution can be some lag, but not sure.

Hi thank you for all your work i tried all the different versions and i stayed with the latest firmware n rom from jxd simply because I enjoy the rom manager(game manager) not sure what its called but i like the way all the games are displayed once the emulator is open; was wondering how is this done since i would like for my snes emulator to do the same since the system only comes with the gameboid the n64droid  gensdroid  mane n nes... any way of doing the same for snes maybe even psx? Thanks for your help... also any reasons why facebook twitter and other apps wont show up on market and i cant install a fakegps app to mock my location?

Edit: one more thing is there anyway the memory can be partiioned so SD card to be SDCARD and not sd external? and leave the 4GB as internal memory only

Do you mean gamemanager in ICS or GB firmware? In ICS I think they were just shortcuts, and in GB gamecenter doesn't allow to include more emulators as far as I know.

About sdcard and external_sdcard issue. I tried changed the values, but partitions and data got corrupted quite frequently, so I'm afraid that deeper changes are needed. I stopped researching in this matter since my system died. I'll get a s5100 with ICS so I'll try with it, and if it works, I can try to apply this confog to s5110.

I don't think that is possible. Have in mind too yhat if you use default launcher with icons to the roms etc you are limited to use default emulators. In my modest opinion, it's better a clean laucnher and then install emulators you like and access to roms with the file explorer built in emulators.

Hey Folks!

I have a BIG problem here. I just wiped my device and reinstalled the ICS Skelrom. Everything was fine until I updated the new uboot. It told me, the update was a succes... but then black screen... dead... nothing. I tried the reset button, long press power button... nothing worked. Even the LEDs are out.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Thank you in advance.

Strange, specially since it said success. Did you did it with low battery? Can't you enter even into recovery? It seems a bad flashing a probably brick. I don't know what else to suggest since the process to update is that. Probably something wrong with the PCB and the flashing went wrong. I would like to try a refund.

The strange is that even bricked, the system should power and at least see the green LED. Have you tried recharging battery and power on?

Try charging through the mini USB port if you already tried via the standard charge port.
