I won't be buying the s602 update.  The device I have now already runs all the games the new one will.  And it doesn't look like the screen resolution is improved, though capacitive would be nice.

The s5110 revamp looks sort of nice I guess.

I'll probably just get the s7800 or if a s5800 comes out i'll get that.

Right now I have sitting next to me a 4.7" smart phone, a 7" tablet, and my s602.  The s7800 interests me because it has an excellent screen and could function as a tablet as well.  But why replace my s602 if it does it's job perfectly minus the battery and can't replace one of the other devices.

The only thing that could get me to upgrade it would be better gaming functionality.  So unless I can play all the other n64 games on it that currently don't play well or start playing nds games, it's sort of pointless.  And at this point there aren't any android games I would want to play on it over my nexus devices.

Depending on the price and release date, I might get an S602B. I don't own any 4.3"/pocket size Android devices yet and it's still more powerful/up-to-date than my S5110.

Suxiaomeng, that firm is for S602B, but the GeneralPLus Model GP33003, not the dual core. The dual core will be Amlogic-MX according to JXD's description, so they will use different firmware.

It seems that the new 5110 will be a good alternative to the s7300 (For me: It should have everything except the 7 inch display). It will be smaller than the s7300 and hopefully the two analogs are indeed real (if not the OTG will allow for use of a PS3 controller). I wouldnt be surprised if the firmware is nasty, though hopefully there will be a custom ROM of sorts available.  Im pretty disgusted with the s5800 designs though, JXD totally killed it for me.

Any one feel the same?

I share your thoughts. Both s5110 and s602 dual cores seem interesting to me. No idea if there will be custom roms though. I am still thinking which model will be my choice, but s5110B seems the most interesting to me.

 It has the PSP design which is good. Though im not condoning the blatant rip off of someone esle's design, the  that the design of the actual PSP was an excellent one, one that wouldn't mind having in a gaming console. It would have everything including another analog stick, which is a plus.

Though I've realized that it will be a must: the touch controls of a phone just is not the same as a physical controller (I tried playing shadowgun dead zone on my phone and realized it just wasn't going to work.)

Skelton, we had updated the information for JXD S5110 dual core now. It is now available for Pre-sell. And the releasing day may be at the end of this May or the beginning of June. We will try our best to bring it to you. We will keep bring you the latest news for it. 8)

Thanks for the info willgoo. It seems they use exactly the same case as in s5110 monocore. I hope they have replaced the 2 piece d-pad, and use single piece D-PAD like in s5300 or s602.
