« on: March 16, 2014, 03:21:49 pm »
Attention to use this ROM, and taken note that algunos users showed problems to return to Jelly Bean is broke sus devices s7800b

I could return back to Jelly Bean using the Tools pull of RileyROM_1.1 (ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe) erasing NAND (IDB) and loading again RK3188Loader (L) _V1.24.bin this within the folder RileyROM

It should, Zak tested out the base rom from JXD and hdmi/vsync/right stick all seemed fixed.

I think he said there was a few other issues with the rom.. ex the home bar being missing.. that's kinda a big deal imo I rather like it.. If it gets in my way in games I just minimize it, but I would'nt want it gone completely.

Well thats a shame.  Why lock at 1.4 when the vast majority of (if not all) devices are capable of running at 1.6?

but in my opinion would have to keep the speed of 1.6ghz jxd, .. at 1.4ghz falls short ppsspp emulators as drastic or nds.
PS returned to webclaw2 ...

Thanks for sharing :) I don't use the nav bar anyway, I paid for a device with buttons so I might as well use them :D I turned it off on the stock rom with XPosed and Gravity Box, so I expect you could do the same on this to turn it on if you want.
Will probably try this out soon, are people finding Wi-Fi speeds better?

Kliurkis how did you get the navbar back?

I think i'll wait a lot of stuff going on just now wait till the dust settles.
I definately want a 1.6ghz kernel.
I imagine once things stabilize webclaw or someone will patch a kernel.

question is I wonder how this runs on a October unit.
They run at 1.6 on old firmware out of the box.

I had heard that one of the problems with the newer T units is the interprate voltage table differently.
So I wonder what these new firmwares do to older units, since I imagine they're building them with the T units in mind.

Kernel for T units are similar to non-T units. they just have a flag that limit speed to what you define to that flag.

I am not sure but KK kernels I think that cannot be patched with patchomatic, unless they are uncompressed, but I compile from source and never used patchomatic, so not sure. You'll need to try it.

I tried to convince JXD to release source now they have a new team, but they called me "traitor and competitor".
Yes, as absurd as it sounds, so I just sent them to hell. It was my last attempt to do something for 7800, but I'll just give up.

Considering what you had done on the 7300 I think they have lost the plot.

Basically they must think that they work for them or something (I made firmware for JXD device since their first s601). Or they don't like I make firmwares with GPD, who knows.

I don't care in any case, less work for me and more free time to play somes games.

That's mental, do they actually realise the difference your work made to their consoles?

I thought it would be more likely that they would employ you rather than insult you!

skelton is a pity that these JXD treat you that way, since you are one of the best cosineros rom.

is sad not to see your work on s7800b, I hope you will reconsider greetings

You should ask them where your paycheck is, They must think they own you.
It's a pity, But you shouldn't have to take that abuse.

Ah well, Hopefully the new FW team does it up right, Seems like things are moving (somewhat) in the right direction despite JXD's apparent disillusion.

Chinese crack me up.. So tight with their own IP but loose as all hell with everyone elses.
