JXD 7800b problems accessing device via pc windows 7
« on: November 10, 2013, 03:41:02 am »
Hello, I just received my jxd s7800b and i have it hooked up via usb to my pc running windows 7. for some reason windows 7 detects the s7800b but i can not access it as a storage device to add stuff to the microsd card. I have activated mass storage, has anyone else had this issue? i've plugged in other storage devices (usb flash drives) and it works. just cant access the sd card from the jxd7800

I must also add, that i can hook up the device to a secondary pc and it works just fine. i just do not want to rely on having to use this second pc to put everything on the jxd device

Yes I had similar if not the same problem.  I solved it by using the USB port at the back of the pc instead of the ones on the front.  If that doesn't work modify the config file by adding TRUE after SUPPORTLOWUSB=.

It is part of the latest firmware update.  Its probably not work you are looking for.  I should of read your message better.  I can't help you regarding accessing your sd card.  Is it because you pc has only USB 3 ports?

I found out i did have it hooked up via usb3.0 which in return was the reason why it was not working. i hooked up via usb2.0 and it works just as intended :) thank you for the help
