Hi guys, i just found out about this community after almost giving up on my JXD S7800b. I just bought it (3 weeks) from a local online shop for almost 260 USD (i know its crazy and that is the best i could get here in my country)

So i use it not more than 2 hours a day merely for light gaming, and this morning i turn on, the screen becomes sort of 2 parts, half with brighness and the other half is 0 brightness. Please thee the picture.





Please enlighten me on this, coz it was so hard to get this and this problem really breaks me. Not to mention i needed to wait for 42 days to get it + the seller said, screen is not guaranteed and he wont be able to fix it.

I would take it apart and just check the LCD ribbon cable.
Make sure it's seated properly in the connector.

Okay i'm going to try it later at home, and update it here, thx for the suggestion. Hope it works

did you reattach the correct lcd ribbon? you should also try the other end of the ribbon, that one was loose on mine.
