Which device are you using?

I use Retroarch for most emulation.
First thing you need to do is select a core. Each core tells you which platform it is for so pick one of the snes ones.
Then you select your game.

Once the emulator starts up you need to press a button so that the controls are auto detected. If you press the screen at this point the controls will set to the touch pad.

I have jxd 7800b, snes9x doesnt work with any ROMs. As for retroarch I select core e.g SNES then select core Content, it says loading but just stays as a black screen.

Play store

If this is the case, the problem is probably the roms you're using. I've been using the play store version to play final fantasy vi and it works perfectly. Are using rared roms by any chance?

Go to app manager in settings, select snes9x, clear data.
This is basicly same as reinstall.

If the problem continues could be ROMs, I've had zero problems with it but I know my romset is good
What format are your ROMs in?

That's Robert Broglia's version, right?

Can you post a description of a rom that doesn't work. Just pick any rom. Filename, file type, file size, etc.? His app can read zipped roms but I am not sure about rar'd roms. I don't see rar as being a compatible file type.

Here's his page about the app:

GP2X Wiz
GPH Caanoo
Yinlips YDPG16
JXD S7800b (WebClaw 116.5 ROM)
Sony PSP-3000

Are you talking about the "load game" option and then the "recent games" option? Pretty much the recent games option is just that -- recent games you've played through the emulator.

No not in recent. I have found out its only my SNES ROMs in both emu's.  I have 2 lists of the same ROMs and none of the top ROMs work. I can get it working now but don't get y its showing 2 of the same ROMs. The one on happy chick only show 1 copy of my ROMs on looking on SD card there is on one set of ROMs.
