- Use an stock firmware from here http://jxdcc.yesigame.com/upload/gujianshengji/S602_V4.0_V70.rar
- Make sure you have installed ADB drivers, you can use Super One Click (Carefull not for root!!!)
- Enable "USB DEBUGGING" from (Menu\Settings\Development sources)
- Enable "UNKNOWN SOURCES" from (Menu\Settings\Security)
- Connect your JXD S602 via USB

The folder "Drivers ADB" have 2 folders, Moborobo and superone click.

Try to install Moborobo if fails use superone click

Click in runme.bat and choose your options screen.



I recomends you first option.

- Dowload http://jxdcc.yesigame.com/upload/gujianshengji/S602_V4.0_V70.rar
- Extract
- Connect your console via USB without sdcard inserted.
- Power on your console with power+start, if is the first time wait after some drivers installed.
- Open "G+MassProductionTool For GP330XX.exe"
- Click in open and select "burning_all_by_usb_OnlyNandPlatform.conf"
- Click in start download.

Another method, (only if you already installed the last firmware)

- Dowload http://jxdcc.yesigame.com/upload/gujianshengji/S602_V4.0_V70.rar
- Extract
- Go to folder S602_V4.0_V70_20120827new_NAND_0.18.1\Code\burnBinaries
- Copy firmware.bin to the root of sdcard.
- Power on the console with power+volume up
- In the recovery menu select (1) Upgrade with format data and cache area.
- Wait to install.

Hi naxeras, first of all thanks for your work. S602 owners like me will be happy with that. Before i install just some questions:
1 - This stock firmware it's an update? I just need to click at "G+MassProductionTool For GP330XX.exe" and it will do everything automatically?
2 - I already rooted this device following skelton's tutorial. Is there any trouble?
3 - What is init. d? (Sorry if it's a really noob question).
4 - I already installed some emulators like snes9x and titanium backup, will this script modify or reinstall them?

Yes, the script checks if you console already rooted.

tiagao_extremo: JXD did a mistake in their readme once you extract the file you don't need to change anything it should be set as "burning_all_by_usb_OnlyNandPlatform.conf" if not use open and choose "burning_all_by_usb_OnlyNandPlatform.conf"





I tried this script with a clean install of the rom "S602_V4.0_V70.rar" unfortunately I had several errors:

-Couldn't root it goes up to step 2 (device reboot with black fonts), but then your script keep saying my device isn't rooted (red text, I tried trice but then I get kicked back to main menu).
I ended up rooting with sparkyroot to proceed (then your script said it was rooted).

-Cleaning part went partially fine, the script had problems setting permission for "init.d" so everything afterwards failed.

-new Launcher was set correctly, jxd launcher was removed correctly.

-Last part, all apps were pushed correctly but after the final reboot, they weren't there for some reason...

Maybe all the error are because my device wasn't rooted perfectly, I'll wait for some user feedback before trying again.

By the way my S602 works fine after applying the script, it's just that some of the optimizations/apps haven't been applied.

Try to root it manually if it fails in the script (I haven't tried yet), so that after you aplly the script you'll have the init.d support, etc.... (I guess, because I haven't tried this yet)

I'll try again, this time I've modified his script (root.bat) with what sparkyroot used to do:

before:

So I should see if it succeeded and I'll be able to choose to continue manually or not.

EDIT: /system/bin/su not found.... with command "files\adb shell su -c "id"" everything fails afterwards... I'll try now completely with sparkyroot

EDIT2: Still failing at /system/etc/init.d/ permission denied... (or something like that I can't read because lines are scrolling very fast).

No, is not necessary reinstall stock firmware, the file is uploading but its slow.

I add a tutorial for install a stock firmware.

I managed to install the stock firmware again using G+MassProductionTool For GP330XX cause just copying firmware.bin to the internal memory wouldn't work. After the install i tried to run the script. This is what happened at the end of the rooting process:

Since the rooting failed, i tried it again according to skelton's tutorial. It worked, and then i tried step 3 - Clean, Optimize and Install Launcher, and this is what happened:

PS: I installed ADB driver using Super One Click and enabled USB DEBUGGING and UNKNOWN SOURCES. Anyone help?

This script looks really cool, but it seems like so many people are having problems installing it. Isn't there a streamlined, reliable method?
