Resolution Changer Utility
« on: January 31, 2017, 08:45:12 am »
I wanted a simple and free icon tray application for changing the resolution of the GPD Win. I found Resolution Changer by P?ter Pallos on SourceForge. It had a few issues and I thought of some ways to improve it. So I've fixed the Autostart, compiled it for 64-bits and sorted the resolution modes into aspect ratio. So I'm sharing it here for everyone to try.

Download ChangeRes.zip

NOTE: You still need to use the Intel Graphics Control Panel to add custom resolutions but they will show in Resolution Changer.

If you have any feedback or recommend any custom resolutions (like 960x544 and 852x480) please post them here.

I was literally just needing something like this yesterday, couple of indie games seem to only run at native with no configurable way to change the resolution in game, and while 2d, are a stuttery mess at 12x7.  8x6 yields a decent improvement, and im sure it can get better if i go a little lower.  Thanks for this and perfect timing!
