There's also one available here:

There is no "Storage Controller" driver for the GPD Win (beyond SD Controllers). I'm not really sure what device is used as the interface.

If the 10/25 bios didn't work, I'm inclined to agree with you that the unit is hosed.

Update.....I tried the recovery image and this is what I received for an error message. For some reason the hard drive just doesn't exist. I think it's hopeless now. I will try and see about getting a refund or replacement.

Hm, that error message says it's not supported on removable media, so it tried to install it on the USB stick.

Have you checked that the USB stick had the correct name?
Otherwise, exactly that happens.

USB stick was my only option, it would not install anywhere else. It was named WINPE

I am sure that the on board storage is corrupt. It looks as if there is no hard drive on this device at all. I was able to run diskcheck from the command prompt

Damn, yes... then that's the problem. Hm, you should be able to install a normal Win10 on a MicroSD card and set that as default boot device though.

You can probably try bring it to mobile repair shop.

I had this samsung phone on which died on me and just like that it went into bootloop. I brought it to samsung shop and they told me I have to replace the whole motherboard for it and it cost shit tons of fortune.

A friend of mine who own a mobile shop said he can fix it with lower cost, and just replacing a chip on it. I don't know which chip.

It's just incredible how these 3rd party independent shops can recognize and fix this kind of problem better than the official shop.

It did work afterall but the imei number changed. I don't care since the device was out of warranty anyway and I don't intend to re-sell it anytime soon.

I suppose the storage chip used for this device is similar to those in mobile phones. It might cost you less. The repairman might be able to recognize the chip, if they manage to tear down the whole thing completely.

But this is a quite niche device on which not many people own it, so the repairman won't have much experience dealing with it.

I figure you might as well try it and see what they say, since your device is broken anyway. Less hassle then sending a replacement or resell it on ebay or something. You might get an option to upgrade it to 128gb storage. Heck even in reddit it's said some people upgraded the RAM too.
