GPD WIN: 5ghz wifi not working after clean install

After doing a clean install and installing the driver package provided by GPD I'm not able to find any 5ghz Wifi networks anymore.

The adapter is listed as Broadcom 802.11ac Wireless PCIE Full Dungle Adapter
Is there anything I need to change in the advanced settings for the adapter?

what may be possible if your are lucky you may be able to get someone with original drivers to run double driver and send you a copy of the driver files.

oh and you could also try restarting your router.

Name of drivers for Wifi :

4356r2nvram
4356r2rtecdc.bin

in "drivers" about "system32"

For this

See in "Windows.old" "System32" "Drivers"

and copy

I had to update my driver.

Hey there i got a secondhand gpd win and it was freshly wiped and reinstalled. I ran into problems with the wifi being seen but unable to connect... i tried all the driver packs 213mb and the wifi fix but i just double clicked them so that did not work.

1. What you have to do first is right click on the exe's / installers of the driver pack (213mb) and run as administrator.

then reboot to be safe

2. Then run the "wifi Us"  fix as admin

Then reboot

3. It is really important to run/open/install things as administrator

It silly if there is one user but windoze is silly

Why silly? Having only one user doesn't mean that anything you run runs with administrator privileges (this would be really silly...and stupid).
