New SuperSU update
« on: March 18, 2017, 04:54:53 pm »
seen there was an update in my notifications, so I did so, suddenly I can't access my device on my pc. Not sure if this update is the reason, but it's the only common denominator. USB debugging is on, it's connected as a media device... any other ideas?

When I originally updated it, I used the default method, nothing ever went wrong with the system. Just now I removed it, redownloaded it from the play store, then updated it again the normal way. Problem is I can still not access it on my computer (I do not have an sd card), which has never been an issue. Before this I went to try and install the RK drivers again since I always assume it's my piece of crap computer, and it would not install, could not uninstall it either. Is it possibly my PC?

SuperSU shouldn't affect Pc connection at all. You can try to go back to previous version, but shouldn't make a difference.

You should try to reinstall driver for device. I had similar problem, XD have been recognized only when I switched usb-connection to camera mode. So you have to select to update driver in system devices via right click on unrecognized XD. Then you must select existing driver that is already in the system. There's a special option for this don't remember how it's called exactly. Then you select something like mobile devices category that has two options of a driver. I had to install something with 'usb' in the name. I have win10, but I think win7 must be similar way. If I find win7 I'll try to update my post
