I just got my GPD and I want to update the stock firmware.

I am rooted but I want to install my own boot animation.

These are videos I am making to try and break down the steps to the very basic instruction. No ranting, no intros, no reviews. There are plenty of good videos out there with all of that already and I don't wish to take viewers from them. No, my intention is to focus on ppl like me. Visual and easy to follow. So if you have questions or maybe requests, as long as I am able to do it myself ( no heavy coding or junk ) I can make a video for it. I really hope these videos help the GPD XD community and I hope to also get the word out. Let's get more people buying the GPD and maybe we can get more new devices developed from GPD.



Steps recommended for all new GPD XD user's: (by me)
** Before you get started with installing emus and roms:
- Update firmware or install LegacyRom: [ Click ]
  ( If you chose NOT to install LegacyRom ) Install root ( it's very useful ): [ Click ]

- Install CWM Recovery: [ Click ]
  ( Flashing a ROM will uninstall CWM Recovery with stock - So this step must be after flashing rom )

- Now install your emus and roms. Get everything configured as best as you can. Get your GPD XD exactly as you want it.

- Backup using CWM Recovery: [ Click ]
  ( This way if you ever have problems with your gpd you can always return it to this state at will )

- Enjoy
