Nice. River raid and Pitfall made my summer as a kid.

When I select the folder for ROMs the app just crashes.  7800 works just fine with the folder I made for 7800 ROMs.  I have tried opening the 2800 ROMs folder with 7800 app and it crashes that app as well. Any ideas why this might be?

Jono, you may have figured this out by now.. but I suspect it has something to do with a limitation of the OS to manage a certain amount of files within a given folder.  Did you copy over a complete 2600 set?  Try deleting a bunch and see if things work out ok.

Hi... would it be possible to have an option to delete a ROM file from the rom's list (and from the card)?

I'm pretty sure it is a file limitation of the OS, I've got the same problem, and after erasing some roms it's ok.
Same with the amiga emulator and my approx 4500 files, no crash but half the disks images shows.

I love this Atari 2600 emulator, as well as your Mame4All emulator!

Any chance of updating to Stella 3.9.2 source?
I develop state-of-the-art 2600 games, and need an emulator based on Stella 3.7.2 or newer.
http://atariage.com/forums/topic/216037-dk-arcade-2600-progress-files-source-code-help-appreciated/

Maybe you could convert from the source from 2600.emu as that is quite recent?
I don't program emulators so I don't know if this would help or not.

Hello, I know Stella emulator needs a new version.
This version is based on an old one, which is faster than last version.
I will try, when I will have time ..., to update to a newer one, like the verison shipped with emu-ex-plus-alpha.

And "bravo !" for your game, really nice :)

Whenever I press Select, it keeps pressing it every one second or so even after I release the button. Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? Otherwise the emulator looks great, thank you for taking the time to port it!

... wait ... not "rejoice" yet! ;) This is still the Stella V1.0 emulator, the only change is a better icon (IMHO)... :)

Please? Upgrade wanted.
Now that Stella is at 4.0 with "Ported Stella to SDL2, which brings many new features. Among the largest improvements is native hardware acceleration support for... Linux/OSX (OpenGL)"
Thanks for your consideration.

No update to GCW Stella ever!?
So wasn't GCW-ZERO supposed to be the best classic emulator handheld?!
I guess not.
I have a better Stella on the iPad and that's through an unsupported Jailbreak, not on an open system like GCW-Zero.

Instead of whining and shitting on alekmaul's porting effort using manipulative phrases like "so I guess it wasn't supposed to be the best classic emulator handheld" and bolding-italicising "ever!?", why not try porting a newer Stella core into the GCW Zero GUI?

Does anyone know why the emulator keeps scrolling through selections when you use the game select option? Is this just an issue in the emulator?

Could you direct me to it? All I've been able to find is v1.0, both on here and on portabledev.

Thanks, qbert!
